How to get to Monserrate Peak?

To get to the funicular station, you will need to walk about 15 minutes up a slight slope from the Square of the Periodistas (Transmilenio station: "Las Aguas"). To be as safe as possible, you could take a taxi from the square which would only be a 5 minute trip.

About Monserrate Peak

This is the most famous lookout in the city, with an altitude of 3,150 meters. You can get here by walking, by cable car, and by funicular (which has been in operation since 1929).
