About Bolívar Square

In the same neighbourhood of La Candelaria, you can find this square ringed by the easily recognized buildings of the Governmental Palace, the National Capital, and the Primate Cathedral. This square attracts many visitors, not only by locals who come here to feed the thousands of pigeons, but of course by tourists who come in search of the best tamal and ajiaco in the world (typical dishes here) in the ancient and famous restaurant “La Puerta Falsa”.
