From 1978, this has been the principal food market of Cartagena that offers local fruits, vegetables, seafood/fish, typical Afrocolombian dishes and even food and art. There are more than 35,000 stalls, though it was only designed for 1,200 stalls. Few tourists visit this market, which is open to the public all day until 9 PM.
