About Santa Marta Hill, or San Fernando Fort

Constructed between the XVII and XVIII centuries with the objective of guarding the city against pirate attacks. For the Aboriginals of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, it is considered a holy place. It originated by erosion of the mountains immersed in the sea.
